Type of Work: Water Main Relocation The North Carolina Department of Transportation Is Requesting Bids for Old Fayetteville Rd. Waterline. All Quantities Are Estimates Only. The Contractor Must Furnish Labor, Equipment, and Traffic Control. The Department of Transportation Does Not Exclude Any Person From Participation in, Deny Any Person Benefits of, or Otherwise Discriminate Against Anyone in Connection With the Award and Performance of Any Contract Covered by This Program on the Basis of Race, Color, Sex, Political Affiliation/influence, or National Origin. Within 14 Calendar Days After Notice of Award Is Received, the Successful Bidder Shall Submit a Fully Executed Execution of Contract, Noncollusion Certification, Debarment Certification and Gift Ban Certification Signature Sheet Prequalifying to Bid: All Prospective Bidders Shall Be Prequalified With the Department of Transportation Prior to Submitting a Bid. Contractors Who Are Not Prequalified May Obtain Information and Forms for Prequalifying From the Contractual Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N. C. All Required Prequalification Statements and Documents Shall Be Filed With the Contractual Services Unit at Least Four Weeks Prior to the Date of Opening Bids. The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in Accordance With the Provisions of Title Vi of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of Transportation (49 C.f.r., Part 21), Issued Pursuant to Such Act, Hereby Notifies All Bidders That It Will Affirmatively Ensure That the Contract Entered Into Pursuant to This Notice Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder Without Discrimination on the Grounds of Sex, Race, Color, or National Origin. Statements of Minority Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises Participation Must Be Presented With the Bids. Mbe Goals Are 0% and Wbe Goals Are 0% for This Contract.
