Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Maryville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project widens portions of Big Springs Road and modifies turn lanes along Robert C. Jackson Drive and U.S. 321. The work of this contract generally consists of the following: Widening of existing Big Springs Road between Bridgeway Drive and Robert C. Jackson Drive to 2-11 foot lanes, 1 foot paved shoulders, and 2 foot stabilized stone shoulders, including complete asphalt overlay. 218+/- ft. extension of the existing WB left turn lane on U.S. 321 (W. Lamar Alexander Pkwy.) at Robert C. Jackson Drive. Modification to the existing raised medians along Robert C. Jackson Drive. The work will include removal of concrete curbs and raised medians, grading, drainage, placing of stone base, asphalt pavement and concrete curbs, and new thermoplastic pavement markings. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount of no less than five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to City of Maryville, OWNER, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids.
