Glasscock County Independent School District is soliciting proposals for the purpose of obtaining the services of a Construction Manager at Risk Glasscock County Independent School District is requesting proposals, using the Construction Manager At Risk, One Step Process (per Texas Education Code 44.031 and Texas Government Code Chapter 2269), for construction/renovation of school facilities. For questions regarding the specifications or to receive a copy of the RFP packet, contact the Superintendent's Office at (432) 354-2921. Proposals should address all of the questions/issues that have been shown in this request. Failure to adhere to these procedures or to obtain approval for deviations may result in an incomplete evaluation of your proposals. Waiver of Claims: by Tendering a Response to This Request for Proposal, the Proposer Acknowledges That It Has Read and Fully Understands the Requirements for Submitting a Response, and the Process Used by the Owner for Selecting a Construction Manager at Risk. Further, by Submitting a Response, the Proposer Fully, Voluntarily and Understandingly Waives and Releases Any and All Claims Against Owner, Architect or Any of Their Trustees, Officers, Agents and/or Employees That Could Arise Out of the Administration, Evaluation, or Recommendation of Any Proposal Submitted in Response to This Request for Proposal. Glasscock County ISD reserves the right to negotiate with any or all proposers. Glasscock County ISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
It is anticipated that the project construction will begin no earlier than December 1, 2022
Estimated Construction Cost-
The initial budget for cost of construction is approximately $6 million for New Cafeteria,$3 million for Complex renovation and $1 million existing cafeteria conversion into a Daycare with a total budget of approximately $10 million.
