PROJECT NO: P921-07A, P921-07 City of Raymondville Proposed Golf Club improvements - Parking Lot and Reconstruction of a portion of Emma Ross Road The City of Raymondville is proposing to construct a parking lot east of the reconstructed golf club storage building. The project will also reconstruct approximately 400 f of Emma Ross Road. The work to be performed under this contract consists of Construction of existing parking lot utilising Asphalt concrete paving. including flexible base, subgrade. excavation, striping. and all associated appurtenances. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Department of Labor regulations at 41 CFR Part 60-4, relating to Construction Contractors--Affirmative Action Requirements, which include the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order No. 11375 and Executive Order No. 13672. in the award and administration of contracts awarded under TWDB financial assistance agreements. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is 8 material breech, which may result in the termination of the awarded financial assistance. A Bid bond in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total bid, including consideration of alternates or cash allowances must accompany each proposal. Failure to provide the bid bond will constitute a non- responsive proposal and the proposal will not be considered. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and assess existing conditions. The successful bidder will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the 5% bond to the Cay of Raymondville as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days. The successful bidder and award will be to the lowest responsive. responsible bidder, accounting for any multiple parts to beds.
