As a result of Hurricane Sally in the fall of 2020, three (3) stormwater conveyance fixtures (flumes) at the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport were eroded from excessive stormwater runoff. The Airport reserves the right to reject any one or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of theAirport. The purpose of this bid is to establish a firm, fixed price for the repair of three (3) stormwater flumes, to include erosion soil removal, erosion soil replacement/compaction, and cleanup at the airport in accordance with purchasing policies of the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. All questions regarding this bid shall be in writing and directed to accounting@pcairport.com . Questions will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. CST on January 5, 2022. All questions and responses will be made available through electronically no later than 5 p.m. CST on February 9, 2022 Due to funding availability work on the project must be completed by no later than March 18, 2022 unless otherwise approved by the Airport. (See attached location drawing attached to this "Invitation to Bid". This "Invitation to Bid" is for the re-establishment of eroded area, for each stormwater flume, to Pre-Hurricane Sally conditions. The "Stormwater Flume Repair" shall be performed in accordance with this "Scope of Work" and "Invitation to Bid" and shall include all parts, materials, equipment, and labor to complete the project turnkey. Scope of work task items shall include: - Remove excess material/debris from each flume downstream erosion area and return downstream area to Pre-Hurricane Sally condition. - Fill, replace, compact, material in/around each flume to re-establish grade and drainage to Pre-Hurricane Sally condition.
