The City of Panama City Beach is requesting sealed Bids from qualified contractors for the purchase and delivery of Bermuda sod on an as-needed basis. Any items appearing in the manufacturer's regular published specifications furnished by the bidder are assumed to be included in the Bid Proposal. Any deletions or variations from manufacturer's regular published specifications must be outlined in an attached letter. Deviations from these specifications which do not impair comparative functional equivalency will be reviewed. The purpose of this bid is to receive a firm, fixed pricing schedule for the periodic purchase of Certified Bermuda sod to be used mostly at the City's parks and sports fields but could also be used at other City locations as needed. A. Certified Bermuda Blend Certified TifTuf Bermuda or a product that is part of the Tiff Tough and Tifway 419 Family The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids (in whole or in part) with or without cause and to waive technicalities, irregularities, or informalities. Contact with any other City official or City employees for the purpose of inquiries regarding this bid or the meaning or interpretation of these specifications shall be grounds for disqualification. Unless terminated sooner pursuant to the provision of the Termination clauses contained in paragraph 5, and subject to the availability of funds appropriated for this purpose, this Agreement shall take effect upon its execution by the parties and continue for a period of two years, with two (2) one-year optional renewals if mutually agreed upon by both parties.
