Renovation of a fire / police facility in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the renovation of the 911 Communication Center and nearby rooms HVAC system including replacement of two basement air handlers and underfloor system units with associated power, controls, ductwork and piping in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings. The work is located at the Paul J. Sweeney Public Safety Building, 3601 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle County, Delaware, 19720. Bids shall be accompanied by a bidders bond or certified check in an amount equal to 10% of the bid price, payable to New Castle County and conditioned to be forfeited to said County for failure to enter into a contract, if awarded. Minority and Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation in consideration of this award.
