Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cortland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All work on this Contract is to be completed within 194 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. The scope of this work includes: The replacement of one hydraulic and one traction elevator including all associated equipment and support systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection / alarm systems including smoke hatch replacement. General architectural scope includes the replacement of existing ceilings and doors, CMU wall infill, new fire-rated ceilings and minor asbestos abatement. The campus will allow a 3.5% field order allowance. Therefore $45,500 will be included in each bid and accounted for in the bid tabulation. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
