Bids for the commodity or service specified will be received by the Purchasing Division, City of Chandler, via email to raquel.mcmahon@chandleraz.gov, until the time and date cited above. Bids must be received in the email inbox of the responsible Procurement Officer on or prior to the exact time and date indicated above. Instructions for preparing bids are provided on the following pages. IFB Summary: The City is requesting bids from qualified bidders to provide the City with kitchen and bath cabinet replacements pursuant to the attached agreement.
Bid Bond. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or draft, for ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, such check to be certified or issued by either a solvent State or National Bank payable to the City as a guarantee that Contractor will enter into a contract with City in accordance with the terms of the Specifications in case such bidder be awarded the contract. In lieu of a certified check as a guarantee, a bond of ten percent (10%) of total bid price may be furnished by the Contractor; such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in Arizona. Such bond shall be payable to City as guarantee that such Contractor will enter into a contract with City in accordance with the terms of the specifications in case such bidder be awarded the contract. The successful Contractor security shall be retained until a contract has been signed and the required performance bond has been signed and delivered to City. City reserves the right to retain the security of the next most responsive bidder until a contract has been executed or until one hundred twenty (120) days after opening, whichever is first.
