Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Simi Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project consists, in general, of providing a traffic control system and construction area signs; water pollution control work; clearing and grubbing; furnishing and applying water; removing existing curb, gutter and sidewalk; constructing curb, gutter pervious concrete sidewalk, new pedestrian ramps;removing and replacing existing pedestrian ramps,driveways, and driveway and walkway conforms; bulb-outs at the intersections with West Sunset Boulevard and Bartlett Avenue; modifying existing drop inlets; constructing new drop inlets; milling of AC pavement at new bulb-outs; constructing AC conforms; slurry seal existing roadway pavement from West A Street to Perkins Drive; constructing tree wells; planting of new trees on both sides of the roadway from West A Street to West Sunset Boulevard; and cleaning of the site at the end of the job. The Sidewalk Improvements on Royal Avenue from West A Street to Perkins Drive Alameda County, California ALLOTED TIME FOR COMPLETION: 45 working days. ESTIMATED COST: $700,000. 15% to Minority Owned Businesses and 5% to Women Owned Businesses. Submit the M/WBE Commitment, Information, and Good Faith Effort Checklist forms with the Bid. Submit good faith documentation no later than 2:00 p.m. on the second business day following bid opening.
