Renovation of a residential development in Malone, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Malone Housing Authority, herein called the Owner,in accordance with Section 103 of Article5-2 of the General Municipal Law, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved withthe Building Improvements Projectat Riverside Haven, 77 Catherine St. as follows: The base bid work of the project generally consists of the removal and replacement of a 160 sq. ft. concrete patio, stabilization of building 4 and repairs to the lower canopy roof. The Authority will also consider removal of the existing roof system to the wood deck and installing a new reinforced EPDM roof system and replacing the cedar shakes on the mansards with new vinyl siding. Plans can be shipped for an additional non- refundable delivery and handling charge of $15.00 per set, payable by separate check to GYMO, D.P.C. Bids may also be sent electronically to the following email address: (kjerome@gymodpc.com) A bid that is sent electronically needs to be followed up with a hard copy bid within the next 5 business days. Bidders may access the bidding documents by contacting Katie (kjerome@gymodpc.com) at GYMO to obtaina shareable Dropboxlink to the documents. Bidders will need to create a free Dropbox account to access the files. No print documents will be issued. Bidder is responsible for costs associated with printing the Digital Documents. The Bidders will receivea set of Construction Documentsincluding, plans and specifications. It is strongly recommended that all Bidders visit the site and thoroughly familiarize themselves with the conditions of the work. Proposals in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond issued by a surety company which shall insure the Owner to the extent of ten percent (10%) of the Proposal or a certified check to be used by the Owner to insure the Owner in lieu of a bid bond to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The OWNER reservesthe right to rejectany and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. The GeneralMunicipal Law of the State of New York requiresthat bidders certify,under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included within the Bid Form. MBE/WBE/DBE's are encouraged to submit.
