Written responses to questions released by: 1/18/2022 12:00 p.m. The awarded contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform tree trimming/pruning services at the Norco, Riverside, Westminster, and Costa Mesa DMV Field Offices for the term of the Agreement. Contractor's Full Business Name (to be completed by the DMV), hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials,equipment, and travel necessary to perform tree trimming/pruning services at the Norco, Riverside,Westminster, and Costa Mesa DMV field offices for the term of this Agreement. The Contractor is responsible for field verifying all dimensions and existing site conditions pertinent to this Agreement.2. The services shall be performed at the following DMV field office locations: A. Norco - 3201 Horseless Carriage Drive, Norco, CA, 92860 B. Riverside - 6280 Brockton Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506 C. Westminster - 13700 Hoover Street, Westminster, CA 92683 D. Costa Mesa - 650 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627 Tree trimming/pruning services at the Norco, Riverside, Westminster, and Costa Mesa DMV field offices. Term: Thirty (30) calendar days within the term of February 1, 2022 or upon contract approval, whichever occurs later, through June 30, 2023. See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. In accordance with the provisions of Labor Code Sections 1770 - 1776, the bidder and their proposed subcontractor(s) shall adhere to the payment of prevailing wages as determined by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if the bidder's total bid amount exceeds $1,000.00. The anticipated term for this Agreement is thirty (30) calendar days within the term of February 1, 2022 or upon contract approval, whichever occurs later, through June 30, 2023. Questions are due 12/28/21 at 12:00 p.m. Answers will be posted 1/4/22 by 12:00 p.m.Submit all written questions via email to the contact person indicated on the cover page of this IFB package no later than the date and time specified in the Schedule of Events. Per Public Contract Code Section 7103, the awarded contractor shall provide a payment bond equal to one-hundred-percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract if the awarded contractor's total bid amount exceeds $25,000.00.
