New construction of an educational facility in Waverly, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 53,287-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and 63,700-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

This project includes the construction of two new 2-story elementary schools at separate locations in Waverly, IA. The project includes the full scope of work for construction: site work, utilities, paving, concrete, precast concrete, masonry, steel, carpentry, thermal & moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, elevators, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. The two buildings are similar and include similar trades and materials. Northeast Elementary base bid size is approximately 63,700 gross square feet. West Elementary base bid size is approximately 53,287 gross square feet. There are add alternates for each building to expand the number of classrooms. Separate proposals will be received for the work per section 01 12 13 Summary Multiple of Contracts. Proposals per bid package may be submitted on one school, two schools separately, or both schools combined. Bidders may submit separate proposals for more than one bid package. Bidders may submit a separate proposal for multiple bid packages for any bid packages also bid separately. Copies of the plans, specifications, and other contract documents are on file and available for inspection at the Waverly-Shell Rock District Business Office, the offices of the architect, and construction manager.
