Site work for a water / sewer project in McAllen, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Summary of Work: The work consists of replacing existing waterline crossing Bicentennial Blvd along Hackberry Ave. and Kendlewood Ave Via directional drilling. A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidder's bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification. Bid Security shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as follows: BID SECURITY FOR PROJECT NO. 12-21-C11-385 HACKBERRY AND KENDLEWOOD WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG FUNDED) Hand-deliver Bid Security or if using Land Courier (i.e., FedEx, UPS): 1300 Houston Avenue; Attn: Purchasing & Contracting Department; McAllen, Texas 78501 Mail Bid Security: P.O.
