Street Rehabilitation Work: The work done under this component includes but is not limited to: traffic control, environmental protections, adjustment of valve boxes and utility boxes, frames, and covers, replacement of survey monuments, protection of underground utility services (e.g. gas, water, sewer, electrical, telecom), concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalk, curb ramps, driveways, cross drains at curb ramps, valley gutters, drainage, crack sealing, base failure repairs, ARAM cape seal, cold planing, removal and disposal of pavement surfaces and base materials, stabilization, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) and rubberized hot-mix asphalt (RHMA) paving, pavement markings, striping, markers, signage, and traffic loops as specified. Intersection Reconfiguration at Dwight Way & California Street: The work done under this component includes but is not limited to: developing and implementing a construction phasing plan and associated traffic controls; environmental protections; adjustment of valve boxes and maintenance hole covers; replacement of survey monument; protection of underground utility services (e.g. gas, water, sewer, electrical, telecom); concrete median refuge islands and raised concrete medians; cold planning, removal, and disposal of pavement surfaces and base materials; HMA paving, including speed table; slurry seal; pavement markings, striping, markers, and signage as specified.
