The estimate is in the range of $3,400,000 to $3,800,000. Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, and specialized skills to perform work involved in the Project. The Work included in the Bid is defined in accordance with Specifications No. 3842 and Plan Nos. 1-3082, 50-678, 50-679, 50-680, 50-681, 50-682, 50-683, 50-684, and Exhibits A, B, 1, 2, and 3. The work generally includes: Modifications of seven traffic signals as shown on the project plans and specifications, construction of Portland Cement Concrete ADA curb ramps, removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, application of slurry seal, sewer point repairs, installation of creative crosswalks, installation of striping and other pavement markings, installation of fiber optic conduit, cable, hardware, and planting new trees. At the time of the Bid Deadline and at all times during performance of the Work, including full completion of all corrective work during the Correction Period, the Contractor must possess a California contractor license or licenses, current and active, of the classification required for the Work, in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3, Section 7000 et seq. of the Business and Professions Code. In compliance with Public Contract Code Section 3300, the City has determined that the Bidder must possess the following license(s): a. Pursuant to Section 3300, of the Public Contract Code, the classification of the bidders Contractors License shall be "Class A and C-10". Failure of a bidder to obtain adequate licensing at the time the contract is awarded shall constitute a failure to execute the Contract and shall result in the forfeiture of the Bidder's Bond.
