As of March 23, 2023, an architect has been selected for the project. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The District of Columbia Department of General Services ("DGS" or "Department"), on behalf of the District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services ("DCFEMS") and the Metropolitan Police Department ("MPD"), is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit the services of an architectural/engineering firm (the "A/E") to assist DGS in updated programing, design, cost estimates, and construction drawings and specifications for the new DCFEMS/MPD Training Academy Facility.
