The Project is in Eaton, Colorado at the Town of Eaton Cemetery located on the eastside of Christensen Avenue (WCR 39) between Collins Street (WCR 74) and 10th Street (WCR 76). This project consists of the construction of approximately 937 LF 8" PVC Waterline, 60 LF. of 16" Stl. Casing Pipe Boring, 1 EA. Air Release Valve, 1 EA. Fire Hydrant, 8,650 SY 4" ABC Base and other miscellaneous work There will be No Pre-Bid Meeting Submit questions to Brad Curtis,P.E. with Northern Engineering at bcurtis@northernengineering.com. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Eaton negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Work will be substantially completed within 14 Days consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 7 Days consecutive calendar days past substantial completion. The Town of Eaton reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Town of Eaton, is to the best interests of the Town of Eaton.
