Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Defuniak Springs, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

SCOPE OF WORK: The intent of this project is to remove an existing wooden bridge structure located along Chesser Road in Walton County, Florida, and replace with a 34-ft by 28-ft single span precast concrete bridge. This project consists of the removal of the existing structure, construction of the proposed structure and approach slabs, installation of erosion control, and channel earthwork and grading. Bidders attending via teleconference are strongly encouraged to join the teleconference at least 10 minutes before the designated start time. If unable to join the teleconference at the number above, please call 850-892-8108 and ask to be included in the Chesser Road Bridge Replacement Prebid Teleconference. Last Date to Submit Questions Is January 13, 2022, No Later Than 12:00 Noon. All Questions Are to Be Directed in Writing to the County Purchasing Agent. Directing Questions to Any Other Staff, Project Engineer, and Any Other Person Is Prohibited and Will Result in Bid Being Disqualified. Questions Received After Such Date and Time Will Not Be Answered.
