Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union City, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Number- 14-0-1293, 20-123-A Scope: Relocate overhead utility lines to below ground along an approximately 1-mile reach of roadway, including the installation of new utility boxes, vaults, and conduits along and within joint trenches. Note that the Engineer has determined that in order for utility owners to maintain operational consistency among their facilities, relocate utilities and coordinate the relocation of utilities by others that are in conflict with planned improvements as shown and directed. Construct one new storm drain manhole and install approximately 350-linear-feet of 18-inch to 24-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe. At approximately 100-electric meter locations convert the service connection from overhead to underground. Remove existing utility poles and restore surface features, including pavement, vehicle detector loops, traffic striping, curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, etcetera. Perform water pollution control work and ensure an approved traffic control system is in place throughout the duration of the Project. Preserve existing survey monuments.
