Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Union City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 20166, the City reserves the right to, in its discretion, reject any bids presented and re-advertise the Project or accept any one of two or more bids that are the same and the lowest In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 3300 a Class A, C-12 or C-61/D-47 contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board of California is required to bid on the Project. The license must remain in good standing throughout the project term In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1771, not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the Project is to be performed, and not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work fixed as provided by the California Labor Code, shall be paid to all workers engaged in performing the Project The work to be completed by the contractor shall consists, in general, of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the pavement rehabilitation work associated with the crack sealing, depression filling, asphalt concrete overlay and restriping of one (1) basketball court, two (2) hitting wall courts, two (2) pickleball courts and six (6) tennis courts at Veterans Memorial Park, Windscreen/fencing, lighting and post are not part of the scope of work.
