Gaston College is seeking bids for two dugout additions and updates at Sims Legion Park in Gastonia, NC. Location: 1201-1299 Dr M.L.K. Jr. Way, Gastonia, NC 28054 Written questions shall be emailed to Singh.manraj@gaston.edu by the date and time specified above. Vendors should enter "RFQ #98-16638A - Questions" as the subject for the email. SCOPE OF WORK 10' dugout additions at Sims Park- 2 each: 1. Prep grade for bottom slab and place concrete with thickened edges for walls. 2. Form and pour 2' concrete wall on 2 sides. 3. Form and pour new steps in front of the additions along with an additional step the full length of the existing dugout. 4. Lay up new masonry walls to match existing layout, there will be variations in color. 5. Fab and place steel roof frame and add an additional column in each dugout. 6. Deck roof with plywood, place metal decking (painting is by others), and place roof edge trim (not totally sure if we can match trim profile, additional cost if we need to replace complete dugout roof trim).
