Renovation of a municipal facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Question Cutoff Date 12/30/2021 09:30:00 PM (ET) Overview: The project consists of replacing the existing heating and air conditioning system at the West Union Maintenance Garage office area, including removal and disposal off site of the old system per the plans and specifications referenced in this proposal. On-site training will need to be conducted once installation is complete. We are seeking a Mechanical/ HVAC Contractor. Project period: To begin upon award with completion on or before March 18, 2022 or as determined by the Project Manager. This includes punch list items and final inspection and acceptance by the Iowa DOT. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. The Iowa DOT is tax exempt. Please do not include tax with your bid submission. IADOT - West Union Furnace and A/C Replacement Project Remove and replace existing office furnace, evaporator coil, drain lines, filter, condensing unit, and line sets with all new items. Meet or exceed capacities as indicated by previous model (see attached model images for model numbers) and efficiencies as outlined in specifications. Condensing unit located on roof.
