Project no: 2021-0212 A certified check, a bank cashier's check, or a bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company made payable to Ben Franklin Transit is required with each bid, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid. Contractor and all Subcontractors shall pay Washington State prevailing wage rates or Federal Davis Bacon wages, whichever is higher. Copies of the prevailing wage rate schedule are available directly from the Department of Labor and Industries. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and in particular to reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid security, certifications or data as required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid that is in any way incomplete or irregular. This procurement maybe partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration. Contractors will be required to follow Federal Transit Administration, State, and Local rules and regulations.
