Demolition and site work for a residential development in Saint Marys, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
All demolition and final clean-up work shall be completed and ready for final inspection on or before May 27, 2022. Bidder shall furnish bond as required in Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Auglaize County and the City of St. Marys, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. No Bidder shall be permitted to withdraw his bid for a period of 30 days after the time of opening of bids. All bids are to be on a form furnished by the City Engineer and submitted in a sealed envelope with the name of the Bidder and the project noted plainly on the outside. The City of St. Marys, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The project shall consist ofthe demolition and removal of the buildings located at 101-111 West Spring Street, along with the proper disposal of said debris and building contents. Reference is made to site plans ofthe buildings to be demolished. A copy of said plans is attached and made a part of this proposal. Any demolition debris and rubble that is not to be stockpiled shall be deposited at an approved Ohio EPA disposal site except as noted in these bid specifications. The Contractor shall state on the bid form the location proposed to deposit the demolition debris The area to be disturbed is under 1.0 acre as planned. Contractor shall be responsible for complying with EPA regulations for storm water runoff. All storm water runoff control shall be maintained by the Contractor. The cost shall be included in the lump sum bid Proper notification, permits and licenses to all applicable regulatory agencies regarding the demolition is the responsibility ofthe Contractor
