To provide comprehensive Landscape and Turf Maintenance Services for various projects located throughout the City. Some sites will involve routine and advanced traffic control, as required by VDOT's Work Area Protection Manual.The City of Newport News (the "City") is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the "Offeror" or "Contractor") to furnish the goods and/or services Comprehensive annual landscape maintenance is being sought to promote,protect, and orderly maintain all turf, plant materials, bed areas, individual plants with collars, and paved areas, including walkways, parking areas, curb and gutter, etc. for each location as designated.Upon notification of an emergency, the Contractor shall be able to respond to emergencies the same day. If Contractor is not able to respond to emergencies on the same day, the City reserves the right to obtain emergency services from other Contractors. The City reserves the right to remove or add sites and/or services during the contract period.The City reserves the right to remove or add sites and/or services during the contract period. In the Pre-Proposal Conference Important information concerning the various sites and contract specifications will be discussed. This is a valuable opportunity for Offeror's to share their questions concerns. Offeror's are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the contract documents and site maps before the meeting.
