Renovation of a municipal facility in Juneau, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Contractor shall provide professional services for scope development, prioritization, and design to complete the Alaska Office Building (AOB) plumbing repair project located in Juneau, Alaska. The building is seven stories tall with a basement. The original construction was completed in 1950 and the domestic water distribution system was replaced in its entirety in 1994. The concealed and buried waste and vent systems are believed to be the original piping, around 70 years old. Services include: architecture and engineering, cost estimating, and IBC inspection services related to planning, design, and construction administration. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2022 to December 2023. Cost of these professional services is between $100,000 and $150,000. Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.
