Street maintenance sand shall con sist of washed granular mineral sand particles free of stone, clay, debris, slag, muck, frozen material, roots, sticks or deleterious material and shall be suitable for winter sanding operations. It shall consist of natural sand or manufactured sand or combinations thereof, having solid, strong, durable particles. Material from different sources of supply shall be blended uniformly. The initial contract term will be in effect from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, with an automatic annual renewal period for four (4) additional years; with a final expiration date of June 30, 2028.
