he City of Knoxville is requesting submissions of proposals from responsible firms to provide Zone C Mowing/Grounds Maintenance Services. The successful bidder shall perform grounds maintenance for the thirty-four (34) sites highlighted on the attached map sheets. These sites will need to be maintained to the highest quality of standards year-round. Maintenance includes: mowing, weed eating, and edging; litter pickup/removal; brush, leaf, debris removal; blowing off grass, soil and debris from paved surfaces. It is anticipated that the length of the contract will be for a one (1) year period with the option of renewing for two (2) additional years. The City anticipates the contract will begin as soon as is practical in January 2022 and run through December 31, 2022; a full year contract period will run from January 1 through December 31. The successful bidder shall bid the amount per two-week maintenance cycle for 26 cycles per year. Bidders are required to provide a cost per cycle and the total amount for one year.
