Bowen Island Public Library Foundation (Library Foundation) is seeking proposals to build a public community space around the Bowen Island Public Library, on municipal property, in the heart of Snug Cove, Bowen Island's village core. The Snug Cove Cultural Corner (SCCC) is the completion of a landscaping and siteworks project initiated with the construction of an addition to the Bowen Island Public Library in 2018. This completion phase of landscaping will expand walkways, improve site, drainage, provide outdoor seating areas, a new shed and a small pavilion that will be a space for public gathering, performance and cultural events, and civic engagement. The Snug Cove Cultural Corner will be the outdoor "living room" for the community and visitors.
