Three municipal infrastructure projects, including: 1. Westside Water System Improvements: Construction of a new watermain to interconnect the Bowen Bay water system to the King Edward Bay chlorination building, as well as upgrades to the existing Bowen Bay wells (Bowen Bay #1, Bowen Bay #2, Bowen Bay #3). The brief description of the work is as follows: A new 75mm watermain connection between the Bowen Bay and King Edward Bay water systems. Upgrades to all three Bowen Bay wells, including mechanical and electrical upgrades. Modifications at the King Edward Bay chlorination building for the new Bowen Bay connection and to replace the existing flow meter. Removal of a check valve at the existing Bowen Bay chlorination building. Culvert replacement A new 200mm watermain connection between Bowen Bay and King Edward Bay water systems (Optional Work) 2. Bluewater Park (BWP) Watermain and Culvert Replacements: Watermain and Culvert upgrades to the Bluewater Park water system. A brief description of the work is as follows: Watermain upgrades throughout the Bluewater Park system (200 mm and 150 mm). Hydrant installations. Culvert replacements. 3. Eagle Cliff-Ocean View Watermain: New watermain interconnect between the Eagle Cliff system and the Cove Bay Higher Zone system. A brief description of the work is as follows: New 250 mm transmission watermain. New below ground pressure reducing valve (PRV) station. Hydrant installations. Culvert replacements.
