The Laboratory Support Facility consists of the partial renovation of an existing approximately 2,700 square feet modular building on the Eastern Washington University campus to act as an interim support facility. The renovation includes targeted demolition, upgrading the facility""'s infrastructure, site work associated with infrastructure improvements, exterior patch and repair associated with improvements, and reconfiguration of interior spaces. The infrastructure improvements include replacement of the building""'s electrical service, new mechanical system, modification of the plumbing services, and other systems as indicated on the drawings. In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic and in an effort to keep our contractors and staff healthy, the Construction & Planning Services Department of Eastern Washington University (C&P) is making changes to the Public Works bid submittal and bid opening process.
