As of March 7, 2022, this project is in design and tentative bidding is April 2022. A timeline for construction has not been disclosed. CONTRACT #1 – Water Treatment Plant Upgrades: Lump sum contract to construct the Water Treatment Plant Upgrades to an existing 350 gpm water treatment plant and one (1) gravel packed vertical water well. The work shall include a 250 SF concrete block addition, a 175 gpm iron & manganese removal filter, all plant building, structures, appurtenances, site and mechanical piping and electrical work, connecting to existing piping and control systems, access and other incidental work required for a complete operating water treatment plant. CONTRACT #2 – Waterline Extension: Unit price contract to construct approximately 21,020 feet of 8”, 6" and 2" waterline, 94 feet of highway borings, 70 feet of railroad borings, 2,830 feet of horizontal directional drilling, 18 gate valves, 4 fire hydrant assembly, 2 flushout assemblies, making 4 tie-ins to existing mains and other work required to provide a complete operating water system. CONTRACT #3 – Water Storage Tank: Lump sum contract to construct the Water Storage Tank measuring 39 feet in diameter by 56 feet in height to the overflow with a nominal volume of 503,000 gallons. Contract shall include telemetry service drop pole, sitework, fencing, sediment control, access roads with drainage provisions and other incidental work required for a complete operating water storage tank.
