Modifications of Infrastructure Facilities (Road, Storm, Sanitary & Utility Program for Up to a 36 Month Contract Under the Cherry Hill Cooperative Pricing System Identifier #37-CHCPS This program will allow the Township (and entities if included) to secure the services of a general site contractor to provide emergency and maintenance services for any work that is outside the capabilities of the Township's Department of Public Works. Work types may include, but are not limited to the following: Storm and sanitary manhole repair/replacement Storm inlet repair/replacement Storm and sanitary pipe repair/replacement Sanitary sewer force main repair General roadway repair Curb, sidewalk, other concrete flatwork Sinkhole investigation/repair Water service repair/replacement Other incidental infrastructure repair/replacement Equipment operator costs Any areas & structures disturbed during construction shall be restored to the condition at least equal to that which existed prior to the start of construction. Any debris will be removed from the project at the contractor's expense. The contractor shall be responsible for the location & preservation of all underground & surface utilities & structures at or adjacent to the site of construction & it shall be at his own expense to repair or replace anything he damages. Contractor shall ensure residents/businesses have access to their homes/businesses during construction. Contractor shall notify all utility companies prior to any construction activities. All construction details not shown shall be in accordance with NJDOT standards as detailed in: Standard Roadway Construction/Traffic Control/Bridge Construction Details, 2007 Edition; Electrical Bureau Standard Details, 2007 Edition; Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets & Highways, 2009 Edition.
