Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Carbondale, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work consists of demolition of suspended ceiling and grid, hung unit ventilators, condensers, related ductwork, diffusers, piping, conduit, wiring and controls; demolition of package air conditioning units and adaptor curbs; and replacement with new equipment, ductwork, controls, finishes and patching related building components affected by work. Bid security in amount and form stipulated in INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS will be required with each bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after opening of bids. Successful bidder(s) shall be required to observe Illinois Public Act 77-1552 and Chapter 48, Sections 39S-1 through 39S-12, Illinois Revised Statutes, pertaining to wages and known as the "Prevailing Wage Act" as issued by the Illinois Department of Labor. Successful bidder(s) shall also observe Illinois Public Act 83-1472, Article 2 and Chapter 48, Sections 2201 through 2207, 1984, Illinois Revised Statutes, pertaining to hiring Illinois labor and known as the "Preference to Citizens" as issued by the Illinois Department of Labor. Furthermore, successful bidder(s) shall observe the "Illinois Human Rights Act of 1980", Chapter 68, Illinois Revised Statutes, and the Rules and Regulations, Title 44, Section 750 of the Illinois Administrative Code, Illinois Department of Human Rights.
