The work shall include but not be limited to the following: a) Maintenance and protection of traffic at the construction site during the course of construction, using cones, drums, signs and trained flagmen. The contractor shall be aware of the requirements of Section 159 - Traffic Control of the Supplementary Specifications and the Traffic Control Plans; b) Remove and Replace Concrete Curb, approximately 60 linear feet, c) Remove and Replace Granite Curb, approximately 100 linear feet, d) Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick, approximately 25 S.Y. e) Remove and Replace Driveway Concrete Apron, 6" Thick, approximately 15 S.Y. f) Installation of approximately 396 LF of 10" Perforated Corrugated HDPE Underdrain Pipe, Type 'P' g) Installation of approximately 28 LF of 10" Ductile Iron Pipe Crossing, Class 52 h) Inlet Type 'A' with Bicycle Safe Grate, 3 units, i) Public Sidewalk Curb Ramp, 10 S.Y. j) Installation of Detectable Warning Surfaces, 24"x48", 2 Units k) Approximately 10,056 S.Y. of HMA Milling, 2" Thick; l) Tack Coat, RS-1, approximately 503 gallons; m) Approximately 1,375 Ton of HMA 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick; n) Approximately 40 Ton of HMA 19M64 Base Course Repair, 5" Thick, Including Removal of Pavement, If and Where Directed; o) Approximately 85 Ton of HMA 19M64 Base Course, 7" Thick, p) Installation of Sump Pump Pipe Connection with Cleanout assembly, 2 Unit q) Sealing of Cracks and Joints in HMA Pavement, approximately 130 Linear Feet; r) Reset Manhole Covers using Extension Rings, 1 units, If and Where Directed; s) Remove and Replace Inlet Grade with Bicycle Safe Grate, 1 units, If and Where Directed; t) Remove and Replace Inlet Curb Piece with 6", 8", or 10" Eco-Style (Requires Field Verification), 5 units; u) Remove and Dispose of existing (R1-1) "STOP" sign, 2 units; v) Install new (R1-1) "STOP" sign using Breakaway Post with Soil Plate, 2 units; w) Traffic Markings, Lines, Long Life Thermoplastic, 4" wide, yellow or white, approximately 8,000 linear feet; x) Traffic Markings, Lines, Long Life Thermoplastic, 24" wide, yellow or white, approximately 37 linear feet; y) Install soil erosion protection measures, if and where required, during the course of construction. z) Notification to property owners affected by construction regarding parking and access to their homes and driveways; aa) Any other work required to complete the project in accordance with the Specifications, Supplementary Specifications, Drawings or as directed by the Engineer.
