Site work for a water / sewer project in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the addition of underground stormwater piping and structures, and the interconnection with the existing on-site system. Contractors must follow SESC measures as specified. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee, as required by N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond made payable to the Owner in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, for the bid submitted. The Bid shall also contain a Consent of Surety agreement pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, with Power of Attorney under which the surety company agrees to provide a performance and payment bond for the full amount of the bid price if the contract is awarded to its principal. All bids shall be irrevocable and shall not be subject to withdrawal for any reason for a period of sixty days (60) following the date fixed for the opening thereof. Bidders must comply with applicable statutory requirements contained in the Contract Documents including the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et. seq. pertaining to "Public Schools Contract Laws". This bid solicitation is made in a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19A:44A-20.4 et. seq. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et. seq. and NJAC 17:27, and all other requirements as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
