Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oakland, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
20.469 As of December 14, 2021, this project is out to bid for a general contractor. A landscape architect has been selected. A firm construction timeline has not been established. This phase includes demolition, clearing & grubbing, grading & excavation, paving, site drainage, and landscape installation. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty which shall not be less than TWENTY FIVE percent (25%) of the amount of the Bid. Construction is to begin within ten (10) days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Base bid construction is to be completed within one hundred eighty (180) days after notice to proceed. If the Add Alternate is accepted, construction is to be completed within two hundred seventy (270) days. The purpose of this project isthe construction ofsite improvementsfor the Oakland Parks and Recreation Department. The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, erosion control, clearing, grubbing, grading, paving, metal building erection, fencing, lighting, site drainage, seeding and sodding.
