The Illinois Department of Agriculture utilizes various materials throughout the year to maintain the fairgrounds and support year-round events. These materials will be supplied and delivered by the winning Vendor to the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL on an 'as needed' basis. These services are being procured as an open order bid. Pricing will be submitted by Vendors on a "per ton" rate based on various types of materials. We have included past information to allow an idea of the quantity typically used on the fairgrounds; however, the Department will be invoiced only for the materials ordered and delivered in a timely basis. Also included is the scenario that will be used to determine the winning pricing. The resulting contract with the awarded Bidder shall have an initial term of three years. In no event will the total term of the contract, including the initial term, any renewal terms, and any extensions exceed ten (10) years. 30 ILCS 500/20-60. Subject to the maximum total term limitation, the Department has the option to renew for the following terms: up to three (3) years according to the renewal options in Section 3, Term and Termination.
