Demolition, site work and new construction of a detention facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; and for the construction of a detention facility.

This project is included in the Volusia County fiscal years 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of December 7, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal years 2024-2025. A detailed scope has not yet been released. Replacement of the West Wing structure at the Correctional Facility due to age and condition. The new "half dorm" will be modeled on existing dorms built in 2016. Project design and construction approved by Council utilizing COVID Transition Funds. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
