The Village of Oak Park is asking for bids for the replacement or repair of damaged street light poles, traffic signals and other small projects that may come up during the year. Since the locations and conditions will vary, the Village I s looking for more of a 'time & material' bid that would be good for the year. The Village understands that labor cost may go up around June 30, so please mention that in your costs. The poles the Village have are 15' and 28' butt poles and 30' aluminum poles. We have some of them in stock but add your costs for these poles in case you would or could supply them. Upon formal award to the successful Bidder, a Purchase Order will be issued to secure this purchase and the Bidder will enter into an agreement with the Village The Village of Oak Park as a municipality pays neither Federal Excise Tax nor Illinois Retailers Occupational Tax, and therefore these taxes should be excluded from quotations. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to waive technicalities, or to accept any item of any bid.
