The City of Independence Power & Light Department is soliciting bids for a firm to provide construction services for Substation A Capacitor Bank. Please submit all questions regarding this Invitation to Bid electronically The substation configuration changes are generally asfollows: 1. Substation A is an existing 161/69-kV substation. A new 20MVAR capacitor bank will be installed and interface with existing 69-kV GCB A-069-101.
