Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Lake View, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Vendor Questions due: Monday, December 20th Total MWBE Participation Goals: 20% SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. The abatement site is located in the utility room. 2. WNYDDSO will provide independent air monitoring contractor for project. 3. The abatement will consist of approximately 15 sq.ft of floor tile, underlayment and subfloor if needed. Exact amount to be abated will be determined at the site visit. 4. Refer to included Asbestos abatement packet for complete details. 5. Clean and vacuum complete work area when finished. 6. All proper documentation to be provided to DDSO Work Control. 7. All abatement shall conform to all DOL industrial code rule 56 rules and regulations. 8. This room contains a Furnace/A.C. unit and Hot water tank that is on the “hot” flooring. The winning contractor will be responsible for removing all units to get to the “hot” flooring. The hot water tank will be reused—the Furnace and A/C unit can be disposed of. The A/C unit will have freon removed before the abatement start. The DDSO will reassemble the flooring and all items after abatement is complete.
