This project includes road construction on the section of Beresford Avenue between Blue Lake Avenue and MLK Jr. Beltway which will provide a 2-lane paved extension that will help reduce traffic congestion in the area. The developer has donated right-of-way and will be constructing the eastern end of the road and intersection with MLK Jr Beltway. The City of DeLand has purchased a portion of right-of-way. Volusia County has acquired the last segment of right-of-way, west of Blue Lake Avenue.
