Barton Malow Builders requests Bid Proposals on behalf of Owner for the construction of 22-201 DW Bathroom Renovations for Bid Package # 22-201 work This project consist of the following: General Trades New toilet partitions, toilet accessories, painting, masonry, and epoxy floor Plumbing Additional piping, new flush valves, new plumbing fixtures Electrical Hand dryers, sink receptacles, and electrical required for boiler at Chestnut Hill Physical Bid Opening will be at: (a) 305 E. Reardon St. (b) Midland Michigan 48640 Alternatively, Bidder's may, but shall not be obligated to, submit bids electronically. If a Bidder chooses to submit an electronic bid, it assumes any and all risk related to software, connectivity, or any other issues related to the electronic bidding process. It is further recommended, but not required, that any electronic bids be submitted at least two hours before the deadline for bid submission to confirm that the bid has been timely, accurately, and completely received. a. Carpenter St. Midland, MI 48640 3) Proposals must be sealed with Bidder's name on the outside of the envelope and designated as follows: Sealed Proposal Bid # 22-201 Project Name: 22-201 DW Bathroom Renovations Bid Package Number:22-201 Bid Category: Subcontractor/Vendor Name, Address, Phone Number Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the Barton Malow Builders project manual dated December 13, 2021 and construction bidding documents prepared by French Associates project drawings and specifications dated December 10, 2021 for: 1. Bid Category: 060000 General Trades 2. Bid Category: 220000 Plumbing 3. Bid Category: 260000 Electrical Bidding Documents will be available for examination and distribution on or after 9 am local standard time on the 14th day of December, 2021. Examination may be made at: Barton Malow Builders's Site office Barton Malow Builders has been contracted by the Owner in the capacity of Construction Manager for the Project, and shall act as representative of the Owner to the extent required/allowed under its Owner contract. Pre-bid conference minutes will be distributed to all attendees and invited bidders. Information disclosed in the pre-bid conference minutes will be considered part of the Bidding and Contract Documents. 22-201 DW Bathroom Renovations 305 E. Reardon St. Midland , Michigan 48640 All bidders are required to prequalify to the requirements described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be pre-qualified for this bid package by Barton Malow Builders before document distribution or receipt of bids per the Instructions to Bidders. Barton Malow Builders reserve the right to request qualification forms or additional information from any Bidder before issuing Bidding Documents, receiving Bid Proposals or awarding the Agreemen Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 003100 - Available Project Information. Bidders with an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) greater than 1.0 may not be considered for contract award The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Midland Public Schools on the AIA Document A132 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Adviser, 2009 Edition. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
