Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in East Union Township, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

As of March 11, 2022, per the owner this project has been tabled until further notice. Sealed Bids will be awarded at a meeting of the Township Supervisors. Bid results will be available electronically following the award. Clarification Deadline: 1/7/2022 12:00 PM The project includes all items necessary for the construction of a new 40'Wx60'L Salt Shed. The items of work are identified more specifically in the Project Specifications. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of East Union Township, negotiable US Government Bonds (at par value), or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid of construction shall be submitted with each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply for this project. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form. The Contractor will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act in providing equal employment opportunities in connection with all work. The Bidder, in accordance with the President's Executive Order 11246, will be required to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form.
