Site work and paving for a civil project in East Union Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project will include the superstructure replacement and structure rehabilitation of the existing county bridge No. 103 and corresponding roadway rehabilitation. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Bid Documents, Contract Specifications and Contract Documents. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. Contractor is to be PennDOT prequalified. Tentative award date of Wednesday September 9, 2020. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidders bond, or certified check or cashiers check, payable to COUNTY OF SCHUYLKILL, in the amount of not less than ten percent of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the County. The County reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents.
