The work consists of removing and disposing of existing windows and installing 171 new windows campus wide to include 27 windows (slider style) in elementary school, 40 windows (32 slider style, 8 casement style) in the middle school, 104 windows in the high school (52 fixed pane and 52 awning style). Work is expected to be completed during the months of June, July, and August of 2022 and/or 2023 and/or on weekends during the 2022-2023 school year to minimize disruptions to students. Bids must include anticipated project commencement date and anticipated project timeline. The district is willing to take delivery of and store project materials until installation can occur. A bidder Q and A session will be held at 11:00 a.m. (Mountain Time), December 28, 2021, at 1 Yellowstone Trail, Whitehall, MT 59759. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of bid receipt. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid, as defined by state law. The successful bidder will furnish an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. The Contractor shall comply with all fair labor practices and must meet the requirements of all local, state, and federal statutes include prevailing wage and hiring preferences. Each bidder and Contractor is required to have a current and valid Montana Contractor's Registration and Montana Contractor's License, as applicable, in the proper classification for the work bid, and such registration and license must remain valid throughout the period of the contract. Whitehall Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any and/or all informalities or technicalities, and to act in the best interest of the Whitehall Public Schools.
