Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Pense, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The major items of work are as follows: Demolition of the existing structure at Pinkie Road over Wascana Creek after new bridge is complete; Supply and installation of new driven steel piles; Supply and placement of new concrete abutments, wingwalls, barriers, approach slabs and deck; Supply and installation of new steel girders and diaphragms; Supply and installation of a new precast concrete pier cap; Supply and installation of new reinforced elastomeric bearings; Supply and placement of an asphalt waterproofing membrane/protection board overlaid with an asphalt wearing surface; Supply and installation of new bridge rails, barrier rails and guardrail system; and Miscellaneous landscaping and other work to provide a completed project.
