Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 60 Electronic bids are requested for a Districtwide / Push Button / Budgetary Ceiling / Landscape Contract. The summary of pay items for this project is listed in the Bid Price Proposal. Pay items quantities shall replace "plans quantities in all instances in the contract document and will be determine by calculation in accordance with the 9-1.3.1 regardless of designation elsewhere. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department's estimated quantities and the Contractors' bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder; however, actual payment under the awarded contract will based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific site are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to accomplish, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. Award will be made at the budgetary ceiling amount of $900,000.00 The Following Items Must Be Submitted With Your Electroinic Bid as an Attachment, or Your Bid Might Be Deemed Non-responsive Experience in Landscaping Form # (850-070-09) Non-prequalified vendors must submit this form with the work experience information. Pre-qualified vendors must submit this form only with the Owner or Company Officer signature. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
